Thermal Optic Management solutions

Thermal Optic Management Solutions or TOMs simply manage your thermal output and input solutions. Heat signatures are evident in almost everything, albeit animal mineral, or even vegetable. Identifying that heat signature, monitoring that temperature, and where viable adjusting the environment to meet the core needs of that temperature is what TOMs are programmed to do.

Current deployments for TOMs include a pre-event fire detection solution for the waste industry. This includes the overall site thermal management of waste, machinery, and transporters of products both before and after processing. Through this deployment it was recognised due to raw stock material there was an overwhelming risk when it come to accountability, thus the mitigation for such events was far more complex than that of Fire Detection systems.

Traditional Detection focuses on events that have happened. “This Machine has overheated” or "there is a fire” etc. TOMs differ from traditional detection such as this and can be adapted to focus on the lead-up to the event rather than the actual event. “This machine is overheating” or “There is imminent fire risk ahead”. TOMs is adaptable to work with other systems such as BMS, Access Control, and Fire Suppression Systems to name but a few.
